When it comes to finding the right beauty products, the possibilities are endless and not to mention expensive! As women, we often don't compromise on our skin care needs! I'm sold if it promises to reduce pores, wrinkles, and age spots! Lol!

While there are lots of great beauty products on the market, there are also some great beauty finds in your kitchen! Your daily food can be used as a face mask, conditioner, and more! I've made a list for you, so take notes!

1. Oats

Oats can be used in many ways. Besides being a great breakfast option, you can grind it and use it as an exfoliator or add it to your bath water. I often add oat powder to my kids' bath water to help soothe their dry and sensitive skin. It's relaxing!

2. Honey

Yes, honey is super sweet and gooey, but I use it to make amazing face masks! Most people don't know this, but honey can be used to clean pores and eliminate blackheads! Honey contains antioxidants and antibacterial properties that help clear the skin of blackheads by removing dirt from the pores.

It can even hydrate and tighten pores for clear skin! I usually do my honey mask routine at least once a week. Let me know if you want my custom mask recipe in the comments below!

3. Coconut Oil

OK, so coconut oil is becoming very popular! People cook with it and even use it on their hair, but do you know what I use it for…. makeup a remover!! I discovered this trick when I ran out of my favorite makeup wipes! I kept a jar of coconut oil on hand, so I used it and was surprised that it removed my makeup better than my makeup wipes! I don't recommend using it around the eyes, but it should be fine anywhere else!

4. Cucumbers

Cucumbers are probably the most "clichéd" beauty product, but I still love using them! Cucumbers help relieve stress and fatigue around the eyes. This is because they have anti-inflammatory and hydrating properties! Makeup?!

5. Vitamin C

Now this has to be my favorite beauty secret in the world!! Vitamin C!! Vitamin C increases your skin's collagen production to give you firmer skin. This helps smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. The antioxidant properties of vitamin C also help fight free radicals and UV radiation damage.

And here's the best part! It also helps lighten skin, especially dark circles under the eyes! I have dark under-eye circles, so I like to squeeze a little fresh lemon or orange juice into my eye cream, and I can really see the difference. My under-eye circles are no longer visible!

I hope you enjoyed learning about my top 5 beauty finds in the kitchen and I'm excited to share more beauty content with you! In the meantime.
